Upon entering the beautiful Gulf of Mexico through the port of Fourchon, you will have access to the numerous oil and gas production platforms which provide habitat for the many species of game fish that
inhabit the fertile waters of South Louisiana. Mangrove Snapper, Red Snapper, Amberjack, Cobia and Grouper are but a short list of the many species that you will encounter around these prolific fish havens.
The Mississippi Canyon, approximately 40 miles south of Fourchon, provides the deep water habitat that makes our area one of the best blue water destinations in the World!  Massive floating oil platforms, some in
water over 3000’ deep, provide an excellent opportunity to battle Yellowfin and Blackfin Tuna, Wahoo and Dolphin.
With over forty years of experience fishing the fertile waters of the Gulf of Mexico, we at Martin Pro-Guide promise a fun, fish filled day on the cobalt blue water of our favorite “fishin’ hole”, why, the only problem that you are likely to encounter is getting us to come home!
For our offshore and blue water trips, Martin Pro-Guide Service offers comfortable fishing accommodations aboard a 2001 31’ Rybo-Runner. This classic hull design has an 11’ beam and is powered by twin 250 h.p. Yamaha outboards.
